This will be the first year of what we believe will be one of the most significant, influential and far-reaching programs in the White Mountain Region, Leadership White Mountains.

This program is about identifying up-and-coming leaders within our businesses and organizations, specifically individuals with the potential for advancement in leadership roles within their organizations and individuals with a sincere commitment and demonstrated interest in serving the White Mountain region.

We will be recruiting for the month of September with the closing date for applications of October 1st, 2012. The class size will be limited to a maximum of 20 participants. It is open to any business or organization in the White Mountains and is supported by the White Mountain Regional Chambers and it will cover all of Navajo County and possibly some of Apache County.

With this letter is the attached leadership brochure, there is a commitment to make when signing up for this program. We are asking employers as well as the participants to sign off on that commitment.  Applicants are asked to make sure all dates on the brochure are included in their calendar.

This program is the ultimate in networking as the class will be made up of a diverse cross-section of people from different businesses and organizations. The class will experience team building, personality profiling, and identifying leadership proficiencies. The participants will gain a great deal of knowledge about the White Mountain area as well as its challenges and opportunities.

I hope many of you will consider this as a real opportunity for growth, both personally and professionally. If you have any questions, please call me at 928-537-2326 or email me at execdir@ShowLowChamber.com.

Thank you,
